We are a team of young people and Per, a young soul trapped in an older body, gathered together by our love for theatre, music and art.


We aim to create a platform where the Copenhagen emerging artists can discover, explore, express themselves freely and showcase their creative talent in front of an audience .

René Bjerregaard Nielsen

KUNSTNERISK LEDER

René Bjerregaard Nielsen was born 1976. In 2004, he graduated as a trumpetplayer and music teacher from the Royal Danish Academy of Music in Copenhagen. In parallel, René took conservatory training with docent Frans Rasmussen and graduated as a conductor. In December 2003, René won the position as the Music Director for Slesvigske Musikkorps, which is one of the Armed Forces' three remaining professional music corps. This made him the youngest permanent music conductor to date.

In 2013 and 2014, he conducted the orchestra in Fredericia Theatre's acclaimed performance of Aladdin-the Musical and The Little Mermaid The Musical at Operaen in Copenhagen. The performances have been seen by more than 200,000 audience members. From January 2016, René took the position of Music Director at Prinsens Musikkorps and debuted the same year at the Norwegian Defense Forces' Music Corps in Oslo. Besides the work at the Musikorpset, René has engagements at the Royal Life Guards Music Corps, Slesvigske Musikkorps , the Naval Music Corps Karlskrona, the South Jutland Symphony Orchestra, the Odense Symphony Orchestra, the Aarhus Symphony Orchestra, and participated in conducting courses in the USA, England and the Baltic. Furthermore, René Bjerregaard has been appointed chief conductor of the Danish Youth Harmony Orchestra, which consists of talented young musicians from all over Denmark. In 2018, René was awarded Prins Henriks Medal of Honour.
